    Our dance

    I yearn to be
    in your embrace
    to cast my eyes
    upon your face.
     
    Dreams to fulfill
    yesterday gone by
    In your arms
    I want to lie.
     
    I want to feel
    your arms around me
    and take the love
    I have to give thee.
     
    My soul's desire
    my heart so tender
    I long to feel
    our sweet surrender.
     
    Please don't deny
    that which should be
    our love will
    last eternity.
     
    Our destiny's here
    it's now before us
    listen to the melody
    of love's sweet chorus.
     
    Forever and a day
    seems not long enough
    Our souls are captured
    in this dance of love.
     
    Let us dance
    and love completely
    for it is
    our destiny.

I wasn't sure about this poem.  I almost didn't post it.  Not my usual style, but then again, I don't have a specific one.  I go with the words in my head.  This would go great with your picture of the couple dancing, Paula.  You all touch me in one way or another.. I thanks thee for accepting and liking what I write.
